I don’t think that’s a good reason to avoid a GCD: it’s up to the authors and sponsors to ensure enough publicity is made so that as many as possible end up participating in deliberations. That said, I also think it’s okay if this particular issue doesn’t go through a GCD. It’s a good move IMO and the plan you outline looks reasonable to me. Thanks! Ludo’.
