Hello all,

as mentioned on the assets page of Guix foundation:
   https://foundation.guix.info/assets/index.html
the project has obtained a little while ago a donation of some
Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen9, with 4k screens, 256 GB SSDs and a 4-core
processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8665U CPU @ 1.90GHz.

Do you have the type number? It should be on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop, or on the box, if they came with boxes. The model and specs don’t agree. I don’t need one, but I am curious, and knowing the correct laptop might help someone decide whether they want it.

If the CPU is i7-8655U, that’s probably an X1 Carbon 7th gen, from ~2017-2018. If it’s an X1 Carbon 9th gen, it’d have an 11th gen CPU, like i7-1185G7.

Also wondering about the RAM, it’s soldered on all X1 Carbon models, so is an important spec.
