Dear Steve.
We've finished the fundraising campaign on the GNU Guix
homepage. The result is that after 4 months we're at about 75%
of our goal. And, with many regular donors stepping forward I
estimate that we're going to beat our goal by a lot! 🎉
Much congratulations for such a result... :)
While late right now, I will add guix as a possible receiver for
next year social.coop list (we support aligned initiatives with
small amounts each year distributed as the community votes).
While very new here, I'd like to thank this wonderful community
for such common and organized effort.
Also, I think there is double value here; the concrete work that
a Linux option like guix creates, and a less obvious one: there
are other ways to do things, more humane and at least as
effective, that the current capitalistic story tells. Community
based commons are the way to go! :D
