Following up on this, and to raise visibility, I just want to mention on-list that I've raised two PRs to try to fix some issues that you ran into. A fix to Luarocks-specific issues (LD, variants for different Lua versions, and finding headers): https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/9673 A bigger PR to change the "default" Lua version to 5.5, and fix up all the Lua packages that I could find that had issues: https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/9848 I've probably missed something that needs fixing, but I feel like the latter PR is already too big, so I don't want to keep adding to it.
