Hi everyone, Today we held another Release Meeting for the upcoming 1.6.0 release.
Initial testing of release-related packages, services and more will start the upcoming week. We are currently finalizing the package sets for the release in https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/11671, and aim to start looking into fixing/deprecating things in there that don't work out, according the established procedures. We do need your help if you have any of the following hardware lying around, and want it to work with the upcoming release ;): - Beaglebone Black - Any Raspberry Pi that supports Raspberry Pi OS (64 bit) If so, please try to build, flash and run the relevant "template" operating systems, found at: "gnu/system/examples" on the latest master commit. We are also working on getting the installer working again in some capacity; more Calls For Testing will most likely follow later this week.
