Mario, con todo respeto, *ese* comentario te hace querer instalar
XF86 4.0? Es broma?
| My system has the following specs:
| Diamond Viper 550 (I know... Time to upgrade)
| I've installed XFree before from binary distributions with little or
| no complications. But I had never built XFree entirely from scratch
| before. If any of you have downloaded the source code, you know how
| large a package it is, about 50 Mb of compressed code.
XF86 son tres paquetes. Si uno quiere compilarlo, debe bajar uno, o a
lo sumo dos.
| I know no one likes to do it, but you really should go over the README
| and INSTALL related files.
!
| As for the technology behind the new XFree86, I would recommend you
| read what is on their website. The code has been modularized, and
| there are too many things that are new for me to list here. My next
| test will be getting the GLX extensions working properly for me (I
| had trouble with OpenGL under the new X.)
Eeeh... una Viper 550 tiene un chip TNT. Un chip para el que NVidia
no ha sacado un driver an. Un chip que en trminos de 3D no tiene
absolutamente ningn soporte en el cdigo que esta persona tiene en su
mquina. No entiendo como pretende entonces poner a trabajar GLX ms
all de poner a trabajar Mesa.
Confundido,
Marcelo
