Hello Mario,

ColdFusion 4.5.1 Server for SP2, RC for Windows/Linux/Solaris/HP-UX are now available
from the Allaire Beta Site (http://beta.allaire.com).

ColdFusion Server Service Pack 2 is an update to ColdFusion Server 4.5.1, and includes
all updates from Service Pack 1. SP2 contains some important bug fixes and performance
enhancements. Release 4.5.1 SP2 requires that a retail version of 4.5 or 4.5.1 or
4.5.1 SP1 be loaded prior to installing the 4.5.1 SP2 package. If the install does not
find the retail version loaded, it will fail and exit.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

For Informix customers

Important requirement prior to installing CF Server 4.5.1 SP2 RC
SP2 requires Informix client libraries version 2.5 or above, where we previously
supported only version 2.3.
Make sure to update your client software and ensure its proper operation with
command-line utilities before upgrading to ColdFusion 4.5.1 SP2.

The Informix 2.5 Client SDK is a free download form the Informix site here:
http://www.intraware.com/control/shop/ProductLineDetail?plne=000111

For Windows NT and Windows 2000 Customers

There is a known issue in the CF Server 4.5.1 SP2 Release Candidate, where an OLE
error will occur when the machine is shutdown or rebooted. A temporary workaround is
to turn off "Interact With Desktop" for the 3 main ColdFusion Services, (Application
Server, RDS and Executive). This issue will be addressed in the final version of SP2.
