Ok, aqui esta la pregunta:
Parchee el sane para que sirviera con un escanner cannon N340P, y
funciona con un paquete (scan) pero solo puedo calibrarlo,los dos
comandos que se supone debo utilizar y el mensaje que me devuelve el
paquete son:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Usage: scan width height <colour|grey> <75|300|600|1200> [-G]
[output.tga]
Usage: scan calibrate [output.bin]
-G Enables hardware gamma correction. WARNING: This could potentially
break your scanner if your calibration file is corrupt!

NB: Parameter order is important until someone rewrites that bit.
[root@localhost sane-backends-1.0.7]# scan width height colour 75
Usage: scan width height <colour|grey> <75|300|600|1200> [-G]

Bueno el segundo comando (scan calibrate) si sirve, me imagino que el
primer comando es para escanear la imagen, pero ni idea de como se usa,
trate de casi todas las formas, por ejemplo:
$scan width heigth colour 300 -G output.tga
$scan width heigth
$scan width height <colour|grey> <75|300|600|1200> [-G] [output.tga]
$scan width height colour 75 [-G] [output.tga]
etc, etc, etc...
