Hi Alberto,
I've been asked to be an ambassador for the LPI during our trip to Costa Rica
at the end of the month:
http://www.lpi.org
One thing that they've asked me to do is offer to let Linux enthusiasts take
a paper copy of the test that is available through Vue and Prometric.
Through those companies, the exams are typically $100US. We should be able
to do them for no charge.
If you can arrange for a testing area (tables, chairs and pencils are all we
need) as well as notifying the Costa Rica Linux User Group and coordinating
the test writers, that would be perfect. You probably know it already but
their web site is at:
http://www.linux.or.cr/
I've included the User Group's contact address in the CC for this e-mail.
Please advise everyone to register with LPI prior to writing the exams
because I need their registration ID. They can register at:
http://www.lpi.org/c-registration.html
As for the scheduling of this day, please work this out with Andrew. He's
handling our itinerary for the trip.
Let me know if this is something that you would like to help with.
Regards,
