A group of
Doha-based Goan investors is planning to float a shareholding company to invest
in the lucrative barge business in Goa. The initiative was taken by John De Sa,
proprietor of M/s. DESA GOA, Vasco-Da-Gama who is based in Doha had given a
presentation on the barge business for potential investors last week. About 25
potential investors had come forward to invest in the project. A meeting will be
held at the New Kebab King Restaurant on Friday 13th August 2004 at 9.00 a.m.
for those who could not attend the last meeting which will be followed by the
investors meet at 10.00 a.m. to discuss details of the project. Further details
