GOA's CM PARRIKAR DEFENDS SKYBUS PROJECT:
The State government does not rule out the implementation of the Skybus project of the Konkan Railway Corporation in future on the 13-km Panaji-Mapusa route.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar stated that a full-proof technology develops only after repetitive trials are held. It is only during such trials that errors in the technology can be detected and set rights, he remarked. "I am still of the opinion that the indigenous Skybus project of the KRC is a good technological development. I am prepared to invest in it provided the international safety agencies certify it as a full proof and safe technology.
