DHAAGO - Bagged the Best Performance and 12 awards Dramatic Troupe of Ribandar (Danny of Ribandar) bagged the Best Performance (1st Prize) and the Best Direction (2nd Prize) awards for
their Tiatr "Dhaago" (Thread) at the 30th Kala Academy, Panaji organized All Goa
Tiatr Competition held on September 23, 2004 at Ravindra Bhavan Hall at
Curchorem, South Goa. 

 Rosalia   The Troupe won 12 awards in different categories
 which included:
Best Actress for Ms. Rosalia Rodrigues who has consolidated her numero
uno position by bagging this award for three consecutive years and
Shirish Naik bagging the second Best Actor award. The child artiste
Arnaldo Crasto won the Best Child Artiste award while Victor Fernandes
continued his prize-winning spree for the second year in line as Best
singing Child Artiste. 

  Sandra  Victor The Troupe also bagged awards for the Best Setting (Ajit Salgaonkar),
Best Make-up (Sadanand Gawde), Best costumes (Sandra Rodrigues) and 
Best Lights (Nilesh Mahale - second consecutive year) categories. 

Director Diogo Fernandes (Danny of Ribandar) and Assis Mendes
pocketed the individual merit certificates for singing Vell and Login
respectively.

In the final tally, St. Cruz Group 'Machi Mogi, St. Cruz' bagged the
second place, "Munis Tum" by Shree. Ganaraj Sangeet Sanskritik
Mandal,
Quitula stood third and "Kortubancho Sounsar" by Merces Club
Merces bagged the consolation award.
