The Organizers convey their grateful thanks to the principals/administrators and teachers of the 10 participating Indian schools and the parents of the 244 students  who participated. Special thanks to the volunteers and teachers of Indian English Academy School, Coca Cola, M&M Caterers and Al-Mulla International Exchange Co. for the kind sponsorship of the awards to the winners. The awards were presented at the Goa Day 2004 event by G. Sadasivarao of Al-Mulla International Exchange Co. in the presence of South Goa Member of Parliament Churchill Alemao, GWS partron member, Mr. & Mrs. Sam Alphonso, GWS President, Carmo Santos, GWS Head of Educational Cell, Joseph F.X. D'Souza and GWS General Secretary, Gaspar Almeida. The annual Drawing and Essay competitions were held as part of the Goa Day 2004 programme, organized by Goan Welfare Society in association with Goan clubs/organizations and open to all Indian school students.
