Divar and Benaulim move upBy A Correspondent 2 November 2004 
DUBAI � ABC Benaulim Emirates ICA and Vanxim Divar carved out impressive victories to move into the quarterfinals of the Pehla Cup Goa inter-village football tournament at the Iranian Club stadium. 

ABC Benaulim Emirates ICA trounced ten-man Morjim 3-0 while Vanxim Divar hammered Siolim Untied 4-0 in the second match.
Morjim were reduced to ten men after Idal Fernandes was given the marching orders for his two yellow cards.
After a series of near misses by Roy Das, he finally opened the scoring for ABC Benaulim in the 17th minute. Franky Almeida had the chance to have equalised for Morjim but his shot hit the post. Orlando Viegas and Jerry Travasso then scored a goal apiece to seal victory for ABC Benaulim.
Citizen Man of the Match award went to Nicholas Fernandes of Morjim and was presented by Andrew, team manager of Dramapur.
Vanxim Divar were in virtual control in the second match against Siolim United with Anthony Fernandes putting them in front after eight minutes. Russell Rodrigues, who was later awarded Man of the Match award, struck two more goals with Randal Pereira sealing matters with the fourth. Frank Govea, the tournament medic, gave away the Citizen�s award to Rodrigues at the end of the match.

Loutolim beat St Anthony in All-Goan football3 November 2004 

DUBAI � Loutolim defeated St Anthony Pernem Showtime by a solitary goal. 
Renato Fernandes scored the match-winner in the 17th minute. St. Anthony Pernem Showtime failed to capitalise on a number of corner kick chances and have crashed out of the tournament.
Loutolim topped Group B with nine points with ABC Benaulim Emirates ICA standing second with six points.
