Goans to stage villages� football event

DUBAI � All Star Entertainment, in association with United Goans of UAE, are organising their first all Goa inter-village 11-a-side football tournament during the holy month of Ramadan which will be held at the Iranian Football Stadium, Dubai from October 22, 2004.
A record number of 16 teams from all over UAE have confirmed their entry. The tournament will be held on league-cum-knockout basis.
There will be cash prizes for winners and runners-up besides trophies.
There will also be man of the match awards during the tournament. Two matches will be played daily during the league phase at 3.30 pm.
