IA introduces Family Ticket scheme
Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) National carrier Indian Airlines will introduce the 'IA Family Ticket' scheme from November 1.
Under the scheme, a maximum of two children below the age of twelve can travel free with two adult passengers ''one way or round trip'' in the economy class, an IA release said today.
The scheme will be valid till January 31, 2005 on domestic sectors (except the sectors operated by ATR 42 and Do-228 aircraft), it said.
Also, a maximum of two persons in the age group of 12-18 years can avail a 50 percent discount on normal published fare while accompanying two adults paying full fare, it said.
In case one child is below twelve and the other is between 12-18 years, the child below twelve could travel free and the other at 50 percent discount.
The IA Family Ticket could be bought by submitting an application alongwith a copy of proof of the children's age, the release added.
