Cleanliness at Inox
I had the pleasure of visiting Inox, Goa�s prestigious multiplex. The complex has been set to international standards and the ambience lures every human that visits it. Kudos to the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Parrikar, and his team. It is a matter of concern that the highly priced tickets enable only the elite to visit these theatres and the rest are deprived. The Chief Minister should mark a day in a month wherein the tickets are reasonably priced; so that every movie-goer gets to experience the joy of being in such a splendid complex. The cleanliness maintained is very impressive but as the show ended the floor was littered with popcorn packets, soft drink glasses, sweet wrappers and so on. Though the advertisement on the screen flashed many times requesting people not to bring any eatables inside the auditorium, the floor was decorated in the most disgusting way. It is a pity that though we call ourselves elite and educated we do not change our attitude, thus ending up bringing disgrace to our state and country at large. It is high time we unite to make Goa a heaven in every respect thus making it a model state to our whole nation.
