Adolf - the Konkani playback singer 

 

Adolf  will be seen for the first time on the Konkani stage in KGTS' "Konknni Machiek Noman" musical show on 5th February 2005.  Adolf, not many in Kuwait know about him, is the sensational playback singer whose voice has resounded over the years in every Goan household.  He has to his credit in the famous Konkani film "Bhueirantlo Munis" wherein he sang the immortal and soul searching song 'Adeus' (Goodbye).  

 

 



 Adolf will surely surprise everyone with his Konkani songs.  As the lead crooner in one of the best musical bands for over two decades here, Adolf has captured the hearts of all at the Goan and Indian social gatherings and shows.  

 
 
 "Konknni Machiek Noman" show promises to be a perfect blend of scintillating music rendered by numerous talented musicians including Agnelo Dias, Goa's ace trumpeter - specially flown in from Goa, Menino (Percussions), Chaminda (Octopads), Jhovy, Filipe & Sucor (Guitars), Denis (Bass guitar),  Frederico, Marlina (Piano), Philip, Shavu (Keyboards), Agnelo (Drums), Faustino (Trumpets), Music coordinator: Tony.  Delightful songs from professional artistes, a group of senior singers and stage artistes of yesteryears will be specially flown in and will include Miss Lorna, Sabina, Meena Leitao, Francis de Tuem, and Menino Mario, meaningful play, rib-tickling comedy by Comedian Domnic, Luis Bachan and John D'Silva.  Digital sound by Spiders, luminous lighting and stage set-up.  The show is presented in association with G.W.S.
 
KGTS first show "Tiatr ani Tiatrist" mesmerized the large audience last year. The proceeds of the show was sent to senior elderly stage artistes in Goa and Mumbai as a tribute to their dedicated service to the Konkani stage. KGTS are the first to do so since its inception.  No wonder, KGTS shows as well as the individual presentations of its members are popularly supported by individuals as well as other Goan organizations.
