Club holds speech contest in Qatar
Nine contestants took part in a table topics contest
conducted by ICC-One in preparation for the regional
encounter.
The topic was �How would you convince your boss that
you deserve a promotion?�
Chief judge Richard D�Souza and his team of B
Rajeswar, Meeran Ibrahim, Haridasan, M I Farid,
Karthikeyan and Venkatesh Rao picked the winners.
Rajesh was the top winner with Naidu in second place
and Sivaraman Iyer third.
Rocky Fernandes was the chairman of the contest, held
at DPS Indian School.
Trophies were presented by district lieutenant
governor for marketing Sonny Varghese, and
certificates by Rajeswar and the school�s principal
Mrs Mattoo.
An international speech contest will be held on
February 7, and a humorous speech competition on
February 21.
