Audio CD of 'FUTT' released
Dinfa Productions have released the audio CD of Fausto V. Da Cost'a 'Man of the Year' award winning Konkani play "FUTT" (The Crack). Music by Babush and has 4 additional (bonus) songs added.
The CD is priced at Rs. 150/-.
"FUTT" released in the early eighties in Mumbai and had 63 successful performances in Mumbai, Goa & Pune and won the prestigious 'Man of the Year' award in 1983. Before completing 50 performances the play was produced on musicassette which was a runaway hit.
"FUTT" is also released in book form last year by The Goan Review Publications (moderately priced at Rs. 30/-) and was dedicated to Fr Freddy J da Costa. It carried a foreword by Marcos Gonsalves, while Brazinho Soares introduced the author. In 1992 on the occasion of Tiatr's 100 years, "FUTT" was staged once again as a seven act play with the professional cast.
