| Coconut record attempt setback |

Indian Rajesh Prabhu set two records for de-husking coconuts with his fingers and feet but failed to become the fastest man to do it with his teeth. Although there are no world records for de-husking coconuts with the feet or fingers, he managed to do it in one minute and 46 seconds and 43 seconds respectively. Mr Prabhu's attempt to become the fastest man to de-husk a coconut with his teeth was disqualified as the coconut, which had dried up during transportation, weighed less than the required 4.53kg. Mr Prabhu, 26, made the attempts at the Kannada Sangha, Manama, last night. Mr Prabhu, who works as a supervisor at the Basma Cleaning and Maintenance Company, used coconuts with a wet, green surface. The current world record for de-husking a coconut with the teeth is held by Indian Sidaraju Raju, who did it in 28.6 seconds in Bangalore in 2003. Mr Prabhu is already listed in the Limca Book of Indian National Records for dehusking 16 coconuts with his teeth in six minutes, an average of 2.6 a minute. The same day he de-husked two coconuts with his fingers in 42 seconds and two with his feet in 111 seconds.
