Lorna, the Nightingale from Goa who was been in the recent headlines has definitely stunned Man�Go (Mangalorean Goan) music lovers of Dubai with her superb performance at one of her best shows ever held in the UAE, with her tantalizing stage appearance and her ever golden voice.


It was indeed a show of a lifetime and it was also a grand musical entertainment where everyone present was geared up in the event waiting and wanting to dance to the tune of Lorna and her troupes numbers. Everyone wanted Lorna, they wanted to sing with her and dance with her and they could not believe that they could really do it and their dream did come true.


Lorna is a living legend who cannot be easily forgotten for the wonderful music she has been rendering to the Konkani world all through the years.  Her all time famous numbers like 'Sopon' 'Sorg Tujea Dollyanim' 'Pixo' 'Bebdo', 'Tujo Mog' enlivened the crowd and they were charged with her music and song.

 

Support artistes who were specially flown in from Goa added spice to the event with their wonderful participation in the musical evening.


The performance of Ancent, Janet, Junion Mario need special mention due to the brilliant performance on stage. Not to forget the main man who held the show together � none other the super compere Alwyn who has done a remarkable job and has definitely made his major break with show.


If not for Carey who has been the brain behind bringing Lorna to Dubai this show would not have been a reality. With sincere determination, and almost single handedly managing the whole event, he has seen to each and every detail of the show.

 

While in conversation with daijiworld.com correspondent, the expressed his gratitude to Lorna for having agreed to come to Dubai with her marvelous troupe of accompanying artistes and for rendering a performance par excellence. He also was grateful to the generous Sponsors who readily came forward to help with their contributions. A truly wonderful show and a bet for everyone for their money�s worth.
