One man's food is another man's poison. One needs to take such risks to be successful. You give me a strong feel of a typical Non-vegetarian Goan and has the fear of becoming a vegetarian. 
 
Yes, I have tried and have been very successful BUT if you try just the way I have, then you will be successful as well... so please concentrate while you are cooking without being distracted .
 
And yes, I did not mention the following in the recipes: 
1. Please wash the vegetables, so that later you do not come with another quiry. 
2. To be extra hygenic, please use a spoon to stir whilst preparing the dishes.
3. Ensure you purchase the vegetables from an authorised supermarket. 
4. Do not over cook, if you do so pls do not blame my recipes.
5. If you are still in doubt, please taste the recipe before you share with others.
 
And finally try - try till you succeed. If you do not, pls visit the nearest bhel-puri shop so that you do not spoil your taste.
 
nb: It has been tested and approved by me. 
Hey, I am just joking, pls take it with a pinch of salt.
