ANJUNKARS CONGRATULATE M. BOYER
- Konkani song: "PONCHVIS VORSANIM!"
On behalf of Anjunkars, I extend our heartiest congratulations to M. Boyer, the zanvuim (son-in-law) of Anjuna, on his felicitation by the Raia Welfare Association. We are proud of our zanvuim! Three cheers to his wife, Martha, who is diligently nursing him.
As a fast composer, M. Boyer always kept pace with the events taking place in Goa, composed songs almost instantly as soon as an event took place and sang them in the first available show. Here are the lyrics of one of his songs titled PONCHVIS VORSANIM which he sang as soon as Goa was declared a State and Konkani an official language:
