MARIANOS KONKANI MUSICAL SHOW "SOGGLE BHAGIVONT"
IN DOHA, QATAR ON 11th NOV. 2005
20 Professional artistes are flying in from Goa for Marianos Konkani Musical Show entitled Soglle Bhagivont which is scheduled on 11th November 2005 at 4.00 p.m. at the Ministry of Education Hall. It is for the first time that such a large Goan troupe is coming to Gulf to perform on one stage and for one single show.
The cast includes: Felcy, Succorine, Aplon, Jesica, Joana, (Trio Kings) Anthony-Jr. Rod-Joaquim, Comedian Domnic, Louis Bachan, Francis de Tuem, Allwyn, Laxmikant, Dr. Kerkar, Peter de Macasana, Leslie, Carlito, Xavier, Roque & Mariano Fernandes.
The show will be compeered by Mrs. Tania Rodrigues, Light effects by Leslie and the Sound By DJ Mario. The gates will be opened at 3.30 p.m.
The tickets have been released and are priced at Q.Rs. 60/= (Resv.) & Q.Rs. 50/=. Tickets are available at Designers Textile & Tailoring, Tel. #: 4325478 & 5842183.
The show is being organized by Goan Stars with the Main Sponsor for the show being Middle East Information and Publications, the Co-sponsor is Sign-tech Neon , the official carrier is Air India; and the official media is Gulf Times.

About the writer-director:
Mariano Fernandes needs no introduction at the Konkani stage as he has written and directed many shows since 1995:
- Devachov Vhodd Upkar was staged 45 shows all over Goa in1995.
- Dilear Dev Nam Tor Denvchar was staged 38 shows all over Goa in 1996.
- Devacho Ghutt Dev Zannam the biggest hit of all, was staged 75 shows all over Goa in 1997.
- Dev Korta Ti Vatt was staged 55 shows all over Goa in 1998.
- Aiz Amkam Dhi was staged 60 shows in Goa as well as Mumbai (Bombay) in 2002.
- The latest show Soglle Bhagivont at present is running full house in Goa and at one centre in Margao-Goa itself, it has been staged more than 30 times, full house. This show has been staged in Mumbai (Bombay) & Delhi as well. Plans are also in the offing to stage it in Dubai, U.A.E, etc.
