Would be the best option.  If you know where to find it, that is.

Second best would be to find the latest release (if any) and make it
an installed package.

The URL of saxpath is :

But it says that saxpath is merged in jaxen.

So there is actually another solution to the problem of DOM4J not 
building (in the absence of saxpath)

dom4j should reference org.jaxen.saxpath.SAXPathException instead of 

org.saxpath.SAXPathException in

org/dom4j/xpath/DefaultXPath.java

I *love* all these XML libraries.

I am going to bug dom4j, but I am not sure how fast they will respond.
