All, Before we go too much further with gumpy.sh or gumpy.bat I think I need to convert them both to a single (portable/standalone) gumpy.py.
Here is what it will do: 1) Allow local configuration (so we can use the default gump.xml workspace, but customize it to local filesystems, etc.) 2) Update Gump from CVS [optional?]. If it doesn't use any gump/* modules, it can update the rest of Gump before launching it. (One problem is that it can't update itself.) 3) Check/Clean a few directories, copy results (to log), etc. Now this is optional. One can run any of the Gumpy scripts without it, this is primarily used for cron doing a full nightly build. Thoughts? BTW: I will try to spend some time documenting the existing scripts plus command line. regards Adam -- Experience the Unwired Enterprise: http://www.sybase.com/unwiredenterprise Try Sybase: http://www.try.sybase.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
