This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. With a slight delay, old vehicles appear
at http://omeyer.gmxhome.de/GURPSnet_files/summary.html

Dragon Republic Type 32/5 Harbor Patrol Boat v1.0 (TL9)
  Copyright 2006 by Onno Meyer

Both on Earth and on the colony worlds, the Dragon Republic suffers an
increasing number of intrusions and raids by Terran Union commandos. For
that reason, most Type 32 Harbor Patrol Boats have been upgraded to the
Mark 5 standard with improved electronics.
The Patrol Boat has an open cockpit with seats for the captain and the
helmsman, a working area over the engine compartment, a small cabin with
the station of the commo/sensor operator and a 180-kJ Blaster LMG on the
deck. There is enough room to hold a rifle squad if required. Most crews
fill this space with bunks and a small galley, but frequent inspections
ensure that these unofficial additions remain easily removable.
The Type 32/5 has a sensor dome with a navigational radar, a low light
camera and a tactical laser communicator. For underwater work, it mounts
a lateral hydrophone array and a 2.5-kW sonar emitter. Blackout gas and
chaff dischargers linked to a radar/lidar warning receiver provide some
protection against sneak missile attacks.
At routine travel speed, the engine burns 5.76 gallons of alcohol or
4.8 gallons of diesel per hour. A full load of alcohol is $100.
