If you have another guy or two to help (which would be the case
if you had another skitrack to tow), just push. 320 lbs. isn't
what you'd lift, but shoving it around should work.
Rule of thumb in the towing business for pulling a vehicle stuck to
the frame in snow is to figure loads based on the weight, times a
factor of 2.5. It can be a lot worse, if you've got to pull it out a
way other than the one it went in, and thus through a snow bank or
something. If it's snow that has gotten slushy, and then refrozen,
you're looking at a factor of four. I don't have the original design
handy, but I'd think these things would be able to do that as a
kinetic recovery, no problem. Otherwise, you're looking at lots of
digging.
There's no excuse not to include basic recovery equipment on any
vehicle used off the beaten track.
Besides, you could probably pull a skier!
