Trigger, p. B115

And if it only activates when exposed to the trigger, Uncontrollable and Unconscious Only (B115-116), too.
The reminds me of the anti-hero of DNA^2, who had an allergy to sexual arousal. (He referred to it as a "girl allergy", but thats' essentially what it was -- he had little trouble dealing with girls in normal social situations.) His body reacted violently and unpleasantly to his becoming aroused, usually resulting in him throwing up.

In this case, there was a cure, but it turned out to be MUCH worse than the disease: not only did it turn him into an extreme lecher, but it also made him almost magnetically attractive to girls. The result was "the Mega-Playboy", a man who would have a devastating effect on the history of the world (by single-handedly bringing about a population explosion) -- and the person responsible for this was the person who had actually gone back in time SPECIFICALLY TO PREVENT IT.

BOTH conditions (which would alternate in not-necessarily predictable ways) would be interesting to model.

The irony is that 2006 Japan would be EXTRAORDINARILY HAPPY to have the Mega-Playboy around -- their government is demanding that their people breed, and the people don't want to.
