This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. With a slight delay, old vehicles appear
at http://omeyer.gmxhome.de/GURPSnet_files/summary.html

Exhibit SM/1120/13125467 aka Shortbow v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL10)
  Copyright 2006 by Onno Meyer

At a first glance, the Ministry of Justice investigators thought that
the Shortbow was a jury-rigged space intercept missile - it fits neatly
into the standard 250mm missile rack. During a detailed examination, it
became clear that the acceleration is insufficient for a kinetic weapon
and that the telescope is not very suitable for tactical operations.
Fragments of the navigation and communications software suggest that
several hundred Shortbow units can form a telescope array which rivals
the largest astronomical instruments in the Imperium. All parts of the
probe are commercial technology readily available in the Marches, but
the MoJ is seriously concerned why anyone would fit a scientific array
with the some of the best stealth on the open market.
