It is easier to maintain than a contragrav vehicle and easier to operate in a blinding storm ... The articulated All-Terrain Vehicle has two sections. The front holds the driver, seven passengers and the engine. The rear section holds the remaining eight passengers and the cargo. The sections are not separate vehicles - there is just one engine and one transmission for the four tracks. The Snow Spirit has basic communications and navigation gear in the front section, including a low-light camera. The TL8 vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [2nd edition, 3rd printing, Dec 2004 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite. The Traveller rules affect the background but not the technology of this design.
