ArcoTech Police Sled v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL10) Copyright 2007 by Onno Meyer Even in the orderly environment of an arcology, contragrav flyers have their place. They can turn in extremely narrow quarters and move between different floors without lifts or ramps. The Police Sled seats two officers in front and either four additional policemen or four prisoners in the rear. It mounts a bulldozer blade and an electrified hull for riot duty. The sensor suite varies from world to world - this example has basic surveillance gear and a sealed camera to monitor the conduct of the officers. The Police Sled has twin thrusters and contragrav units, powered by rechargeable energy cells or microwave power transmissions in the larger corridors. The five power cells last for 13 hours at the top speed of 135 mph. The microwave power receiver allows indefinite flight at 55 mph. Subassemblies: Body +3. The TL10 vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [2nd edition, 3rd printing, Dec 2004 errata], GT, VXi and VXii (the armor volume rule) and the text format from Vehicles Lite.
