Right on...  My campaign is using gates to enter hyperspace.  I tried
to keep it as generic as possible...

I needed a starmap program for possible "mistakes" made by PC's making
navigational errors.

The second one is a start.  I don't need a map/charting program,
though.  I'm working on a universe where FTL travel is through
"wormholes", so my charts are just graphs -- directed graphs, as the
"wormholes" aren't guaranteed to be bidirectional.  They also may go
to more than one place.
