It's not at the level of detail that the vehicle design system is. Ships have no more than 20 systems, each of which is 5% of the mass of the vehicle. It's fast and easy to build a ship ( I can do one in about 5 minutes, if I'm not worried about costs). There's a rather abstract (mapless) space combat system. It works reasonably well. I really like the design rules -- they're detailed enough for me, and using them is easy. They do have a very grainy resolution; and coverting from another system means that some things are below the level of detail. The book that's available is the first in a series. Future volumes will include more specialized topics, but I don't remember what the list is, except for Volume 2, which is _T%aders, LIners, and Transports_. The playtest for that has just started. -- David Scheidt [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ GurpsNet-L mailing list <[email protected]> http://mail.sjgames.com/mailman/listinfo/gurpsnet-l
