Thanks to all those who gave me advice on G4e books. I'm now happily working
my way through Ultra-Tech, with Martial Arts on the shelf in waiting.

But I'm wondering if anyone has figured this energy question out-- that is,
converting the various Power Cells into energy storage/output equivalents. It
seems like Ultra-Tech bags the question when it comes to "external power", and
basically assumes that the Semi-Portable Fusion Generator and its like supply
as much power as one needs. Did I miss that part? Has someone bothered to
calculate the energy storage/output of the various power cells? Is it possible?

This came up because I continue to hammer away at my "G4e: A More Generic
Starship Builder". It was initially based on an amalgamation of the
Interstellar Wars system and guidelines from G3eR: Space 2nd Ed.. I've been
refining it gradually through playtesting and just number crunching. Now I'm
trying to add consistency with G4e: Ultra-Tech-- that is adapting some of the
more macroscopic items from UT into my Builder. Conversion issues with energy
consumption/production for jury-rigging is becoming an issue, even without
resolving some discrepancies in translating (game-balanced) conversions of dDR,
dHP, and damage vs. "ddamage".

Anyway, thanks for any insights on the subject!
