AFAIK, the only legitimate way to the 2 semi-Official FanFic Novels at

point is from the Author, because they haven't been published yet, but I
don't believe they've been officially rejected either (I could well be
wrong).
That being said, I sent Nigel an email with advice on how to contact the
author, Chris Nuttal, as he has generally proven willing to email either
of
his aldenata books to people who ask (& FYI, AFAIK he is allowed to do
so,
as the author of the Aldenata series approved the writing of the novels,
&
has never objected to their being sent to people at Chris' discretion).
People at BAen's Bar directed me to Chris too - directly under Ringo's
nose,
so I think he and the owners of the series don't mind.

Well John is definitely aware of them, as they were slated for consideration
& release as part of the series, but I can't say for certain what John's
stance on redistribution of them is because it's been a while since we
actually saw him on the Bar (he doesn't like the latest iteration of the
software).
However, the last person I saw ask on the bar asked in the conference for
the Managing Editor (Toni Weisskopf), & I know she was aware of the thread.
I only made the point I made to reassure people that, as best as could be
managed, things were being done legally & ethically. (I'm a tad paranoid).
