This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Small Interstellar Yacht, Vehicles Version v1.0 (TL11)
  Copyright 2010 by Onno Meyer

This tiny starship could be used for interstellar leisure cruises, or
by busy executives who simply cannot wait for the next scheduled liner.
The Interstellar Yacht was designed around the powerful hyperdrive in
the spine of the hull. The forward sections contain the tiny cockpit, a
combined saloon and galley, a master cabin with a twin bed, and a guest
cabin with two berths. The fusion reactor and the sublight engines are
mounted in the rear. She has no cargo holds, but there are big stowage
lockers.
It takes 9.7 hours to recharge the power cells for a hyperspace entry.

Subassemblies: Body +6.
Powertrain: Four 90,000-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters;
  300-ton hyperdrive; 5-kW RTG; 30,000-kW fusion reactor;
  108,000,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.
Occ: 1 bridge RCS, 2 double-occupancy cabins. Cargo: 250 cf.

Design Notes
Body is 6,000 cf, with underbelly skids, lifting body and very good
streamlining. Structure is medium, standard. Armor is standard
composite. Sealed. Computerized controls. 1,410 cf of empty space. Empty
weight is 54,000 lbs.
The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, December '09 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.

It has a streamlined 30-ton (SM +5) hull about 45 feet long.

Systems Table

Front Hull System
[1] Nanocomposite Armor (dDR 5).
[2] Control Room (C7 computer, comm/sensor 5, and one control
             station).
[3-5] One SM+6 Habitat (cabin).
[6!] Stardrive (FTL-1).

Central Hull System
[1] Nanocomposite Armor (dDR 5).
[2-4] One SM+6 Habitat (cabin).
[5-6!] Stardrives (FTL-1 each).
[core] Fusion Power Plant (two Power Points).

Rear Hull System
[1] Nanocomposite Armor (dDR 5).
[2-5!] Standard Reactionless Engines (1G acceleration each).
[6!] Stardrive (FTL-1).
[core] Fusion Power Plant (two Power Points).

It has the artificial gravity, gravitic compensator and dynamic
chameleon features.
