This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml Onno Meyer, 2010-11-08
Personnel Thruster Pack v1.0 (TL11) Copyright 2010 by Onno Meyer The Personnel Thruster Pack allows crew transfers between starships in orbit, or hull inspections even in flight. In addition to a thruster and a power cell, the Thruster Pack has fly-by-wire maneuver controls and a transponder beacon. The Thruster Pack can be operated on a planetary surface, but on most worlds this requires a datalink to the local air traffic control system, perhaps through the suit electronics. The power cell lasts for 5 hours at full thrust. Subassemblies: Body -2. Powertrain: 500-lb. vectored super reactionless thruster; 450,000-kWs rechargeable power cell. Occ: Harness CS.
