Orbital Scooter v1.0 (TL11) Copyright 2010 by Onno Meyer The Orbital Scooter is used to ferry work crews between starships and orbital starports. The open Scooter is used mostly by personnel already in space suits, like hull maintenance crews. The Scooter has a thin, long spaceframe with two seats, the pilot in front and one passenger in the rear. The instrument panel contains the computers, sensors, and communications. The thruster and power storage cell are mounted under the rear seat. The power cell lasts for 148 minutes at full thrust, delta-V 174 kps. Subassemblies: Body -1. The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third printing, December '09 errata] and VXii (including the armor volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
