This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Captain's Gig v1.0 (TL11)
  Copyright 2010 by Onno Meyer

The Captain's Gig carries a pilot and three passengers from a starship
in orbit down to the surface and up again. It is normally used by senior
officers like the captain, with urgent business dirtside.
The Gig has two rows with two narrow seats each, and there is no cargo
capacity beyond a briefcase or a notebook. On the plus side, the Gig can
reach Mach 4 at sea level on earthlike planets, and she is small enough
to be carried on freighters without full hangar bays. The Captain's Gig
could be used for interplanetary travel, but comfort and safety margins
usually restrict her to orbital space.
