Bioship Destroyer v1.0 (TL14)

At 300,000 tons, the Bioship becomes a capable interstellar warship. A
fleet destroyer can screen capital ships, scout for the battle fleet, or
lead the escort force of a merchant convoy.
Her hull is an ovoid 200 yards long, with antenna clusters on the prow
and thruster projection vanes in the stern adding another 100 yards. The
tractor beam emitter also extends to the rear.
The spinal fusion gun of the Bioship Destroyer has grown large enough
to penetrate 15 feet of modern laminate armor or 500 feet of steel. Her
lateral fusion guns might be able to punch through 7 feet of laminates.
The payload section contains a hundred cabins for human passengers, a
small sickbay, cryosleep facilities, cargo holds and a hangar for about
10,000 tons of subcraft -- usually a mix of conventional shuttles and
smaller bioships.

The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, December '09 errata], Robots, VXi (including the structural
volume rule) and VXii (including the armor volume rule) with the text
format from Vehicles Lite. The GM should probably set a FTL factor well
over 0.2, perhaps in the five figures for intergalactic flights.
