This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Dragon Republic Type 15 Medium Utility Dropship v1.0 (TL9)
  Copyright 2011 by Onno Meyer

The Type 15 Dropship is the most common orbit to surface transport in
the Republic Navy. She can carry 32 tons down to the surface of a world
and back to the orbiting starship or transfer station.
The cargo bay for containers, pallets, and surface vehicles is almost
15 m long (plus two meters for the rear ramp) and 3 m wide over most of
the length. The passengers sit on folding benches along the sides. The
small cockpit has seats for a pilot, a copilot, a navigator and a load
master. The life support lasts for just six hours at maximum capacity,
plus six hours reserve, but the usual payload are two or three medium
vehicles with their crew, perhaps twenty people total.
The fusion rockets use 10,000 gallons of reaction mass per hour.

Subassemblies: Body +6, two Wings +3, ten retractable Wheels +2.
Powertrain: Two vectored 250,000-lb. fusion rockets; 50-kW super MHD
fusion reactor; four 270,000-kWs rechargeable power cells.
Fuel: 8,000 gallons water.
Occ: 4 RCS, 36 folding CS. Cargo: 2,800 cf.

are 482 cf, retract into body. Structure is medium, advanced. Improved
suspension and brakes. Armor is advanced composite. Sealed. Ultra-light,
self-sealing tanks. Computerized controls with duplicate maneuver
controls. 670.34 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 68,000 lbs.
The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, December '09 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
