Warp Cruiser v1.0 (TL10)

  The Warp Cruiser was designed for interstellar exploration and first 
contact. She can defend herself, but the primary missions are research 
and diplomacy.
  The Cruiser has a central hull and two engine pods. The main deck has 
a transverse corridor, between the port and starboard airlocks, and two 
ring corridors which lead to individual cabins, the mess, the labs, and 
the sickbay. A lift and several ladders lead up to the bridge deck and 
down to the engineering deck. The lower deck also contains the shuttle 
hangar and store rooms for long expeditions. The engine pods mount one 
fusion reactor and one warp drive each. It would be difficult to reach 
the engine pods from inside, but they can be maintained by EVA.
  A full load of missiles and food is $2,660,000. It takes 5.5 seconds 
to recharge a shot of a 30-MJ Laser, or 0.55 seconds for a 3-MJ Laser.

Subassemblies: Body +8, two Pods +6.
Powertrain: 100-ton super reactionless thruster; two 2,500-WTF warp 
  drives; two 270,000-kW fusion reactors; eight 45,000,000-kWs 
  rechargeable power cells. 
Occ: 10 bridge RCS, 40 cabins.   Cargo: 15,000 cf.

  Body is 87,200 cf. Pods are 6,400 cf each. Structure is extra-heavy, 
expensive. Armor is expensive laminate. Sealed. Computerized controls 
with duplicate maneuver controls. 26,333.2 cf of empty space. Twenty 
240mm missiles are carried in the body. Empty weight is 1,600,000 lbs.

  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, December '09 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume 
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
