This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml Onno Meyer, 2012-07-09
Light Transport Mk.VIII v1.0 (TL15) Copyright 2012 by Onno Meyer The Light Transport carries a couple of interstellar merchants to the stars, to profit and adventure. She has room for six people and 60 tons of cargo, at a modest price tag. The Mark VIII has a simple box shape, covered by a streamlined force screen in flight. The forward half of the ship is the cargo bay, with a large bow ramp for easy cargo handling. The rear contains the crew area and the engine room. The flight deck and the galley are combined into a large common room on the port side, where the crew spends most of their waking hours. On the starboard side are three cabins, each with double beds, and the head. It takes 275 minutes to recharge the power cells for one hyperspace entry. Subassemblies: Body +7. Powertrain: Four 125,000-lb. reactionless thrusters; 500-ton hyperdrive; two 500,000-lb. contragrav generators; two 20,000-kW total conversion reactors; 182,250,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.
