This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Deep Space Transport Mk.III v1.0 (TL10)
  Copyright 2012 by Onno Meyer

  The Deep Space Transports are small interstellar craft, optimized for
work in the outer system, the asteroid belts, or near the Trojan points
of a gas giant. The Mark III is built for long missions away from ports
or supply stations.
  The starship has a cylindrical hull, 48' long and 16' wide. Her solar
panels are 50' by 625' each. They power the sublight thrusters and life
support systems, and the remaining power is used to recharge the cells
for the next hyperspace jump.
  The main cylinder is divided into two crew decks, the cargo hold, and
the engine room. The upper crew deck holds the control room, two cabins,
and an airlock. The lower crew deck contains the hydroponics system and
the three remaining cabins. A shaft leads through the cargo hold to the
engine deck, so the hold can be decompressed without inconvenience to
the crew.

Subassemblies: Body +6, two retractable Panels +10.
Powertrain: 2,000-lb. vectored reactionless thruster; 100-ton
  hyperdrive; 943,200,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.

radscanner; two x400 astronomical LLTVs; precision navigation
instruments; two transponders; three inertial navigation system; two C5
hardened minicomputers; two terminals; compact fire suppression system;
2-man airlock; 5-man total life system. External: Radiation shielding;

Design Notes
  Body is 10,000 cf. Panels are 31,250 sf each, retract into Body.
Structure is super-light, expensive. Armor is expensive metal. Sealed.
Computerized controls. 964 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 103,000
lbs.
 The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, July 2010 errata] and VXii (including the armor volume rule)
with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
