They can be deployed by very small starships, and the different types can be combined according to the specific mission requirements. The Factory Module contains a nano-factory and all necessary support systems. The assembly tank is roughly 5' by 3' by 2' and it can handle parts up to 200 lbs. The nanofac comes with a ton of refined feedstock, so new sources of raw materials will become an immediate priority. In theory, a Factory Module with sufficient feed materials can replicate itself in a few weeks, but it might take months to get all the parts properly assembled and calibrated -- more likely, the nanofacs in the first wave will be used to keep the base running. Skids are 25 cf, retract into Body. Structure is medium, standard. Armor is standard metal. Sealed. 18.77 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 8,000 lbs. The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third printing, July 2010 errata], UTT, and VXii (including the armor volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
