This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Autovelocipede v1.0 (TL5)
  Copyright 2013 by Onno Meyer

Combine a Stirling regenerative heat engine and a velocipede, and you
get the Autovelocipede. This remarkable invention gives mobility to the
gentleman of means who just happens to lack the means for a proper road
steamer.
A metal framework holds the engine, transmission and two solid rubber
tires. The driver has a leather saddle with a small luggage compartment
underneath. The Autovelocipede has electric lights for use in smog, fog,
or darkness.
The engine burns 0.2 gallons per hour at routine speed. A full tank of
gasoline is $1.5, while diesel -- where available -- would be $1.2.
