Well, I'm not on facebook, so I couldn't comment on the details, but I think you make a fundamental mistake in your writing process. When the Hollywood studios put two different endings to a focus group to get their reactions, they do that to safeguard their multi-million dollar investments, and they already have those endings. AND THE REST OF THE STORY. They ask which complete story is better. If you ask people what they want to read, and then write it up, there won't be much of a sense of wonder. No "neat, I wish I had thought of that" -- because your readers have been so strongly involved in the decisionmaking. An adventure writer is not the recording clerk of his readers.
