This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Battlesuit Mk.I v1.0 (TL8)
  Copyright 2014 by Onno Meyer

This is a near future battlesuit, a powerful exoskeleton with integral
weapon systems and heavy armor. The first generation of battlesuits will
probably reinforce elite infantry units and SWAT teams -- they are much
too experimental for general issue. Just the adventure setting for a
small group of intrepid heroes ...
The battlesuit mounts a 7.7mm caseless minigun in the right arm and a
40mm grenade launcher in the left arm, usually with a mix of HE against
infantry and HEAT against enemy suits. In urban combat, blackout smoke
to obscure maneuvers and HESH to breach walls could be carried instead.
With a height of eight feet and a weight of a ton, the battlesuit is
not exactly stealthy, especially if it breaks through a building floor,
but the thermal signature is reduced below that of an unshielded human.
The gas turbine burns 0.22 gallons of diesel per hour of routine use.
A full load of fuel and ammunition is $3,589.2.

Subassemblies: Body +0, two Legs -1, limited-rotation Turret -2, two
  Arms -1.
